About Peter Holdcroft & Co
Peter Holdcroft & Co made earthenware at the Lower Works, Fountain Place, Burslem. The partners were Peter Holdcroft, Samuel Sherratt and Charles Collinson. After Holdcroft's apparent death around 1852, his wife Mary succeeded him; the partnership dissolved in July 1853.
