About Pirkenhammer Brezova
The Pirkenhammer porcelain manufactory began in 1803 near Karlsbad, in what is now Březová. Johann Martin Fischer and Christopher Reichenbach acquired it in 1811; it later became Fischer & Mieg. André Carriére influenced its designs from 1868. The factory joined Epiag in 1918 and was nationalized in 1945. Crossed hammers are its identifying emblem.
