About Pratt and Simpson
Pratt & Simpson made earthenware at Lane Delph Pottery, Fenton. John Pratt and Joseph Simpson formed the original partnership; Joseph Gimson later replaced Pratt. Simpson retired in March 1882 and Gimson continued the business.
