About Pruszkow
Jakub Teichfeld and Ludwik Asterblum founded the Pruszków faience factory in 1872; Teichfeld was sole owner by 1903. It made tableware, bathroom ceramics, tiles and technical products. Production stopped during the Second World War and the factory was later nationalised. In 1956 it became Zakłady Porcelitu Stołowego Pruszków. Bankruptcy was announced in 2001.
