About Redon
Martial Redon and P. J. Gibus began porcelain production in Limoges in the early 1860s. Gibus retired in 1881, leaving Redon sole owner. Joseph Redon took over in 1896. With the Jouhanneaud family the business became La Porcelaine Limousine in 1906. George Magne acquired it in 1918; after closure in 1938 it reopened under Alexandre Chastagnac in 1946.
