About Retsch
Retsch & Co. was founded in Wunsiedel, Bavaria, in 1885 by Christopher Seifert, Gustav Mueller and Bernhardt Retsch. Initially concerned with lime and kaolin, it began porcelain production in 1891 and specialised in perforated porcelain, later adding tableware and gifts. Headquarters moved to Arzberg in 2003 while production remained in Wunsiedel.
