About Reutter
Martl and Willy Reutter founded their pottery business in Denkendorf in 1948. It switched to porcelain in 1954 and began marking production, first with a gold cloister stamp and later an M W R monogram. Production expanded into miniatures, children’s tea sets and gifts; the whole operation moved to a new Denkendorf building in 1980. Sons Bernd and Bertram joined the business, which also produced licensed designs including Sarah Kay and Hummel.
