About Richard Alcock
Richard Alcock produced white ironstone at Central Pottery, Burslem, from 1870 until his death in 1881. He enlarged and rebuilt the works, supplying both home and export markets, including substantial trade with America. Wilkinson & Hulme succeeded him at the pottery.
