About Ridgway Potteries Ltd
Ridgway Potteries Ltd emerged from Lawley Group reorganisations in 1954–1955, bringing together Ridgway, Adderley, Booths, Colclough and associated factories. The group made bone china, earthenware and hotel ware across several Staffordshire works. In 1964 the expanded Lawley Group became Allied English Potteries, which merged with Royal Doulton in 1972. Ridgway names and backstamps continued afterwards.
