Royal Art Pottery operated at the Waterloo Pottery in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. Its original partners were Harry Aynsley, Lucy Helen Forester and John Thomas Fell. Forester left in December 1897 and Aynsley and Fell continued the business. It made majolica and decorated earthenware, including flowerpots, vases and pedestals, and also traded as St. Louis Fine Art Pottery Co.
