About Rudolstadt Strauss
Porzellanfabrik Rudolstadt Straus & Söhne A.G. was established in 1882, with roots in Lazarus Straus & Sons, founded in 1869. The importing and trading business operated in several European countries and worked with R.H. Macy from 1874. The source records a later change to Nathan Straus & Co. and the factory’s closure in 1930.
