About Sara Young
Sara Young made wheel-thrown and occasional slab-built functional and decorative pottery with opaque earth-toned glazes. She often used rocks to impress textures into unfired clay. She operated Eagle Bend Pottery in Clinton, Tennessee, from 1951 to 1992 and co-founded Twelve Designer Craftsmen in Gatlinburg.
