About Schmeisser

Wilhelm Kunze & Co. was founded in Eisenberg in 1865 by Gustav Wilhelm, Karl Friedrich Kunze, Otto Kirschten and Julius Schmeisser. In 1868 the name changed first to Kunze & Schmeisser and then to J. Schmeisser. The factory mainly made tea and coffee services; production ended before 1910.
