About Seltmmann Weiden
Christian Wilhelm and Johann Seltmann founded a porcelain factory in Vohenstrauß in 1901. Christian established his own Weiden business in 1910; after his death in 1921, Katharina managed it until their son Wilhelm took over in 1928. The company acquired Krummennaab in 1939, Erbendorf in 1940 and Tettau in 1957. It added four Thuringian factories after reunification in 1990 and remained a family business at the time of the source.
