About SPM Walkure
Siegmund Paul Meyer acquired a porcelain painting workshop in Bayreuth in 1896 and founded a porcelain factory in 1899. Walküre ovenproof cookware became its best-known product. In 1926 the business became Erste Bayreuther Porzellanfabrik Walküre Siegmund Paul Meyer GmbH. Successive Meyer family generations managed it. The factory later concentrated on hotel and restaurant dishes and closed after insolvency in 2020.
