About Stadtlengsfeld Felda
Koch & Schnorr completed the Stadtlengsfeld porcelain factory in 1889. Financial failures led to Carl Frisch ownership in 1896 and a new company under Büchner, Seiffert, Reuss & Beckmann in 1902. It became a stock company in 1919 and Felda Porzellan, later Felda Rhön Porzellan, in 1930. Nationalised after World War II, it operated as VEB Porzellanwerk Stadtlengsfeld from 1950 and joined the Colditz combine in 1969.
Following privatisation, bankruptcy in 1998 and revival as Gilitzer Porzellan-Manufaktur in 1999, production ended in 2007.
