Stanley Pottery Company made earthenware at Newport Lane, Middleport, Burslem, specialising in flow blue ware with gold or silver bands. Pink and green examples also occur. The source suggests an export emphasis. Rights to the Touraine pattern, registered in 1898 by Henry Alcock & Co., were sold to Stanley around 1909.
