About T Morris
Thomas Morris made china at Regent Works, Longton, built in 1892. The partners changed in 1900, with Harry Davies, Samuel Morris and Arthur John Morris continuing the business. From around 1912 it used Crown Chelsea China for hand-painted and gilded china. Herbert J. Colclough probably took over in 1918. Thomas Morris became part of Colclough China Ltd in 1937, and Regent Works continued under that name.
