About T Booth & Co
Thomas Booth worked at Knowles Works, Burslem, in partnership as Evans & Booth from 1864. Around 1868 he operated on his own as Thomas Booth & Co and moved to Church Bank Works, Tunstall, around 1870. His son Thomas Gimbert joined in 1872, and the business became Thomas Booth & Son. It made earthenware and ironstone, including goods for the American market.
