About Telkibanya
The porcelain factory at Telkibánya was founded around 1830 on Duke Ferdinand Bretzenheim’s estate and branded products Regecz, the family’s aristocratic name. It made luxury vessels, tobacco boxes and painted plates for the owner and his circle, using floral arabesques, relief-like decoration and miniatures. The source says it continued until the early 1860s.
