About The plant in Barashi
The Barashi plant was established in 1854 on A. Ratsiborskaya’s estate. Ownership later included Zhigotskaya, S. Shilke, R. Maksimovich, Nebero and Simonovich, while A. Gershfeld and later A. Karant and S. Kushnirskiy leased it. In the late nineteenth century it made strong porcelain and faience tea and dinner ware, often with floral decoration. The source does not give a closing date.
