Thomas Clarke Wild worked with his father as Thomas C. Wild & Co and operated on his own from 1905. His sons Thomas E. and Frederick J. became partners in 1917, forming Thomas C. Wild & Sons. The group acquired several Longton potteries and incorporated in 1933. Harold Holdcroft became art director in 1934 and designed Old Country Roses in 1962. Lawley Group acquired the company in 1964.
The Wild family’s involvement ended in 1969, and the business was renamed Royal Albert Ltd in 1970.
