About Thomas Till & Son(s) potters Burslem

Thomas Till made earthenware at the Sytch Pottery, Burslem. He was a partner in Barker, Sutton & Till and later Barker & Till before continuing on his own in 1850. His sons Edwin and William Thomas joined the firm, which became Thomas Till & Sons in 1861. Edwin left in 1890. The business later passed to Charles Henry Salt, who retained the Till name after partnerships dissolved in 1902 and 1914. It closed in 1928.
