About William Young’s Sons Pottery
Millington and Astbury sold their interests to the Youngs in March 1860, when the firm became William Young & Sons. William Young retired in 1870 and died in July 1871. The firm then became William Young’s Sons and retained that name until its sale to the Willets Brothers in February 1879.
