Listed by Grimwade Grimwade, Arthur - London Goldsmiths, 1697-1837: Their Marks and Lives, Faber & Faber, 1990 under Unregistered Marks as "? David Whyte". It would have been recorded in the missing 1758-1773 Largeworkers' Register. Note however that the partnership mark of David Whyte & William Holmes seen 1760 to 1767 casts some doubt on this attribution to David Whyte alone.
