This mark not shown in the Sheffield Register Watson, . - The Sheffield Assay Office Register, Wm Townsend & Sons, Sheffield, 1911 . It may be an unidentified Birmingham mark as Birmingham makers are known to have had their marks put on fruit knives by their Sheffield suppliers
