Attributed to George Bedingham, formerly a partner in Bedingham & Hay at Paternoster House. That partnership dissolved in 1899, after which he traded in his own name; the source records G. Bedingham & Co in 1920. Marks were registered at the Assay Office in 1899, 1901, 1902, 1905 and 1910.
