Canadian pottery marks occur on Medalta stoneware and tableware; a model or capacity number has a separate role from the company’s stamp.

Medalta used several documented stamp forms on stoneware and tableware. Factory wording, stamp outline and any product-line name narrow the maker and period more usefully than CANADA alone.

Compare an impressed mark with a printed backstamp before matching a period. A model or capacity number is separate from the company stamp. For studio pottery, retain the individual seal or signature.
